Northside Women's Ministry

The theme this year for Northside Women's Ministry is becoming essential women in our daily lives.
Becoming an essential woman brings empowerment as we recognize our strengths as indispensable members to society, family, church, workplace, and community. We are necessary to meaningful, vital, and healthy growth as we influence those around us. It is crucial that we build upon our strengths while recognizing that we need to grow our weaknesses so that they do not become a burden to ourselves and those around us. We must allow God to lead us to become all-important in our lives so we can become essential to others.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. Psalm 46:5
Being essential can be interrupted in the same way as discovering how your spiritual gifts change and develop as you change and move through life. Women have the ability to be able to adapt through many life changes, from puberty, to marriage, to motherhood, to menopause, and into their elder years. Throughout all this, the way they feel essential to their family, church, and community also changes. Our goal to support and help in these many changes.
Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. (Romans 12:4-6a)
May God bless you as we move forward together.
