The beginner class centers around the My Bible First curriculum. This program progresses through the Bible in sequential order, laying the crucial foundation of understanding the origin of sin and God’s great plan of salvation. My Bible Stories are distributed to the children each week. These lessons help children learn how to study the Bible and have their own personal devotions, and parents learn how to have family worship. Every story is made practical and appeals to the age of the child to live by God’s principles. This program brings the Bible alive in a real and interesting manner.

The dedicated teachers in the Beginner’s class bring gentleness, kindness, creativity and a love of Jesus to this age group. They want to share that love with the little ones in the division. They have bountiful knowledge of the Bible and how to adapt that to age appropriate lessons. The dedication they show to the church has made a huge impact on the kids and the classroom.
